Klaus

Since completing his university studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Klaus has created creative assets and commercial artwork for more than 600 of the world’s largest corporations and industrial clients. The interdisciplinary Folkwang tradition led him into a wide variety of design fields: storyboarding, animatics, layout illustration, marketing illustration, editorial illustration, typography, 3D illustration, corporate design, brand design, newspaper and magazine design, book design, production design, logo design, key visuals, package design, poster design, the conception of advertising campaigns, employee campaigns, promotions, TV formats, EXPO pavilions, theme parks, laser shows, trade fairs, trade show appearances, conferences, roadshows, museums, exhibitions, and much more.

He has received international awards for concept development, package design, poster design, industrial design, illustration, photography, and futurology, including two Red Dot Design Awards, the Type Directors Club of New York Award of Excellence, two Human Resources Excellence Awards, a nomination for the German Design Award, a nomination for the Design Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany, and others.

Klaus lives and works in one of the oldest mining lofts in the Ruhr region — the listed workshop hall of the Holland Colliery, dating back to 1856.
