IONOS processes personal data (e.g. IP addresses in server log files) to the extent necessary to provide and secure the website.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient website provision).
A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) has been concluded with IONOS.


4. Data Collection on Our Website

Server Log Files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. This includes in particular:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of our website.


5. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, your inquiry including any personal data resulting from it (e.g. name, email address, and content of the message) will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your request.

Legal basis:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (if contact is related to pre-contractual measures or contract performance), or
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries)

Data will remain with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies or you request deletion, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Analytics Tools

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited.

IP Anonymization

We have enabled IP anonymization. This means your IP address will be shortened within the EU/EEA before it is stored or further processed.

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and implement the requirements of the data protection authorities for the use of Google Analytics.

Transfers to Third Countries

A transfer of data to the United States cannot be ruled out. For the USA, an adequacy decision by the EU Commission exists (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework), provided the respective provider is certified. Further appropriate safeguards may apply where necessary.


8. Google Fonts (Local Hosting)

This website uses Google Fonts for the consistent display of fonts. The Google Fonts are hosted locally on our server, so that when you access our website no connection to Google servers is established.

In this context, no personal data (e.g. IP addresses) is transmitted to Google.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a uniform and appealing presentation of our website).


9. Social Media Links

Our website may contain links to social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn). These are simple hyperlinks. When you click such a link, you leave our website. The privacy policy of the respective platform applies.


10. Recipients of Data / Processors

We only transfer personal data to third parties if:

  • this is necessary for contract performance,
  • we are legally obliged to do so,
  • you have given your consent, or
  • we have a legitimate interest.

Possible recipients include in particular:

  • hosting provider (IONOS)
  • web analytics provider (Google Analytics / Google Ireland Limited)
  • IT or web service providers (e.g. maintenance/support), if applicable

11. Storage Duration

We store personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. After the purpose ceases to apply and/or legal retention periods expire, the data will be routinely deleted.

13. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

In the event of a violation of data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

The competent authority is generally the data protection supervisory authority of the German federal state where our company is based (North Rhine-Westphalia), e.g.:

State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW)
